Boulder County Second Quarter Sales

Second Quarter figures are indicating it’s still a hot market for sellers! Average sales prices are up and properties are flying off the market! The only communities not to show an increase in average home sales prices compared to the same period last year were Louisville and Superior, who reported modest decreases. There was a 5% increase in Boulder, where the average sales price was $828,671. Most communities also reported that average days to contract on single-family homes and condos were down. In Boulder alone, the averages days to contract on a condo decreased by 30%, while the median sales price increased by 13.7% to $290,000. The volume of properties sold throughout Boulder County decreased, however, compared to 2013’s Second Quarter—excepting Longmont—due to a smaller inventory this year.
