Things to do around town

If you’re wondering what to do this fall, don’t forget about our wonderful museums here in Boulder, including the Boulder History Museum. The museum is now featuring the return of the award-winning exhibition, “Chief Niwot: Legend and Legacy.” Boulder also has a number of live music shows every weekend at venues around the city, including a show in early November featuring Colorado favorites Elephant Revival, a five-member band from Nederland. And if you’re a parent, make sure to bring your kids to the Munchkin Masquerade in downtown Boulder on Halloween. Kids will be able to trick-or-treat along the Pearl Street Mall!

If you want to have input on our arts and culture scene, consider taking part of a city project dubbed “culture kitchen” this week. There will be 13 “neighborhood conversations,” focus groups and a Farmer’s Market event, all with the goal of answering the following: “What is the city’s vision for arts and culture in the next 9 years?” Learn more here.
