You will truly experience a neighborhood by riding up and down its streets, rather than zooming by in a car, giving you a feel for what it might be like if you lived there someday.

Q. As a seller, how will this model help me sell my home?
A. The unique offering provided by Pedal to Properties Realtors draws interest from prospective buyers who will tour your neighborhood and your home. More foot traffic through your home increases the likelihood that it will sell.

Q. What if I don’t like biking?
A. No problem, biking is purely optional. Pedal to Properties Realtors offer neighborhood showings on cruiser bicycles simply as a unique way to view homes. The traditional way of viewing homes via car is always available.

Q. Do I have to be in really good shape to tour neighborhoods on a bicycle?
A. Not at all. The Pedal to Properties method was developed with all ages, physical ability levels and interests in mind. Bike tours are not rigorous, rather leisurely and peaceful. This is one of the reasons for selecting distinctive cruiser bike as the bicycle of choice. They are comfortable, practical and easy to ride. Some people think it’s not for them, then they try it and love it.

Q. Can I bring my own bike and ride it instead?
A. Of course. We think you’ll love the ease of the cruiser bikes, though.

Q. What if I’ve scheduled a neighborhood tour on bike, but the weather is lousy?
A. You have a few options:
Reschedule a tour with your realtor
View homes via car instead and plan to view another neighborhood via bike on a different day
Wear appropriate clothing and ride anyways!

Q. Do I have to wear a helmet?
A. The helmet is optional, but we recommend its use.

Q. What are the environmental benefits of this model?
A. Many real estate agents rely on cars to transport clients to and from locations, but motor vehicles create a substantial amount of air pollution. By traveling to neighborhoods, unloading bikes, and taking a tour, we cut down on the driving. Beyond that, touring a neighborhood on a bike is a preview of what you’ll be able to do once you live there. The bike slows down the process so you experience what your lifestyle will be once you move there.

Q. What else is “green” about this model?
A. We’ve established a partnership for all Pedal to Properties offices with a “green” office supply provider and our offices employ many ecologically friendly practices. Because being eco-conscious is important to our customers, we will always strive to incorporate new green practices when possible.
