Cruising for Housing
As seen on 9News Colorado, July 2007
Business Anchor Gregg Moss took a look at a unique new real estate company. Pedal to Properties of Boulder offers house hunters the opportunity to see potential neighborhoods from cruiser bikes - instead of from the back of a real estate agent's car.
The company was started by real estate professional, avid cyclist and Ironman triathlete Matt Kolb. He and his partner Chris Sweeney help their customers narrow down the neighborhoods they'd like to look at, drive them to the area, and unload the bikes. Then they ride around and check out the properties - and get to see them the way they would if they lived in the neighborhood.
Kolb and Sweeney say it's an easy way to view multiple properties in a given area.
And hey - it's another step toward healthy living!
Pedal To Properties plans to regularly participate in the annual Boulder Bike to Work Week and other local biking and environmental events as a part of its mission.
Pedal To Properties will be expanding to realtors across the country with its licensing model. This national expansion is currently underway.
If you'd like more information, you can visit the company's Web site at pedal2properties.com or call 720-201-7586.
